Cyanotype series inspired by where the ocean touches the sky
The series titled "空と海は逢えないけどいつも向かい合っている"—translated as "The Sky and the Ocean Cannot Meet, But They Are Always Facing Each Other"—consists of six posters that blend graphic design with photography. Created using the cyanotype process, an alternative photographic technique, the works reinterpret the characters for "空" (sky) and "海" (ocean) in a painterly, abstract style.
The sky and the ocean serve as metaphors for two individuals walking parallel paths—forever close, yet unable to truly meet.
