Cyanotype series inspired by where the ocean touches the sky
This series "空と海は逢えないけどいつも向かい合っている" translates to "The Sky and the Ocean cannot meet, but they are always facing each other."
These six posters merge Graphic Design with Photography. They were created using an alternative photography method called cyanotype, but I utilized it in a painterly way to abstract the characters "空" (sky) and "海" (ocean).
The sky and the ocean are metaphors for two people who are walking similar paths but cannot come together.
