Naoko is an LA-based Motion Designer, Animator, and Art Director with a BFA in Design and Motion Graphics from the School of Visual Arts.

Naoko is a Tokyo-born creative who spent her formative years in NY. After living and working in NY for 14 years, she relocated to LA to explore the vast nature of the West Coast. She has been actively freelancing in the motion industry since graduating in 2014 and has had the pleasure of working with studios including Apple, BNS, DIA, Google, Trollbäck, Scholar, and more. Naoko is proficient at animating, designing, and toolkitting in After Effects.
Outside of client projects, Naoko’s experimental work style led her to spend her free time in darkrooms developing photography - predominantly photos of architecture and abstract, ephemeral moments in life - and playing with alternative photography methods. She is also an avid architecture/museumgoer and a skier during the winter season.
