GOOGLE CES 2020

Booth animation for Google CES 2020

For the second year in a row I was part of a great team of creatives to make content for Google’s booth screen at CES 2020.

My role included:
1. Help organize and animate a systematized universal template for all animated query stories
2. Animating a template for promotional videos (ex. Netflix, Disney, Quibi)
3. Help quality control renders
4. Delivering all assets as proper codec to RedPaperHeart and relaying any additional information, such as inputting how many frames of hold / duration frame count for specific areas / etc, for accuracy
5. Fully animating a few query story backgrounds, some transitions
6. Making a 5min long “fallback” run of the booth, incase the coding system went down and had to play an emergency video while troubleshooting
7. Making bulk of the montage edit. Passed onto Gerald M Soto for any finishing touches, color correction, and necessary screen replacements

Fallback video (an emergency slide run incase the system needs to be troubleshooted)

Systematized template for query flow. There were 2 card options, 3 card with generic type option and 3 card with infographic card option. Guide also had to be made based on schematic

Select query story animations
Queries were all 30sec long at 30fps. Renders are cut short here
